Yesterday there was a red carpet affair for the Who’s Who of women in the church and black community, featuring celebrity guests, community leaders and honorees. In the decade since its inception, the tea has served to inspire women, both young and old, to join forces and create a movement of service towards each other, the communities in which they live and to God. This Event took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. Check out some of the red carpet arrivals below:

OK!, the world’s leading celebrity magazine has once again kicked off Grammy weekend with their highly-anticipated, star-studded, Pre-Grammy event at Lure Nightclub on Thursday, February 5th 2015 with a special performance by multi-platinum recording artists, Nico & Vinz who was presented by Elvis Duran.

It also introduces actress/singer Demetria McKinney, an R&B powerhouse, whose newest single, “100” featuring hip-hop artistDaBrat is impacting audiences from coast to coast.

The multi-talented singer, songwriter, actor, musician, and producer has been bubbling throughout the music and entertainment world for years and has already energized music lovers across the globe with collaborations with some of pop’s and hip-hop’s finest.

Demetria McKinney, Widely known for her role as “Janine Payne” on the hit TBS sitcom, “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne.” Demetria is not just a singer but also an actress. Demetria can currently be seen on Lifetime in a recurring role on “Devious Maids” (Lifetime), and as a primary character on “The Rickey Smiley Show” (TV ONE). She is also the newest cast member on this season’s “Real Housewives of Atlanta” (Bravo).
Over the past few years Demetria has recorded and performed with artists such as Musiq Soulchild and Anthony David, as well as R&B mainstays Dwele and Tank. Now, after spending time perfecting her craft and tapping fully into her musical voice, Demetria is set to release an EP – “Officially Yours” – to give music fans just a taste of what she has to offer.
The first single off of the EP is a sure fire club and radio hit titled “100.” It is a hip-hop infused women’s anthem featuring one of the genre’s first ladies – Da Brat, and is produced by The Good Guys.
